Hey there, thanks for stopping by!

It would probably be quicker to write about the things I don’t like, but here goes nothing. I love anything creative. I paint – using oils, acrylics, gouache and watercolour. I draw, including digitally, I have recently discovered knitting (which I’m OBSESSED with) plus now I’m expanding into crochet and I’m thinking about other fibre arts. I love anything miniature. I love photography. I love paper crafts and clay (I can only afford the air dry kind- who could afford to run a kiln in this economy I ask you?) When it comes to creating I just follow my heart and see where it leads me.

I love the outdoors. I love to garden, and I love to walk in the woods and look for mushrooms. I play Sims 4, I am an absolute bookworm, and after years of not getting enough of it, I am an advocate for getting plenty of rest and quality sleep. I am passionate about afternoon naps.

We have a family cat called Kitt who is almost 20 years old, I have a beautiful, tiny parrot named Pea, and I am a dog aunt to a wonderful whippet called Newton. My mum, my brother and my sister are my favourite people. There’s nothing I love more than our little family.

I’ve been giving lots of thought as to why I’m here (in this little corner of the internet, I mean) and after more than a decade of blogging I think I’ve figured it out – I’m looking for community. If I win the lottery one of the first things I’m going to do is set up a community art centre where people can use kilns for free any time they like, amongst other things. Pottery should be a human right. Since I haven’t won the lottery (yet) I’m just trying to send more good things out into the world and see what happens. Here we go…
